The Shepherds Hut at this peaceful, rural location offers a high standard of accommodation with stunning views of a small lake. We loved having our meals by the lake and enjoyed the company of the moorhens. The host provided a warm welcome with coffee, milk, Cornish fairings, and delicious eggs.
Felt like a home away from home, with exceptional attention to detail. Nothing was too much trouble for the friendly host.

What a delightful surprise! From the moment we arrived, we knew this stay was going to be special. The hosts at this hidden gem had truly thought of everything, including the warmest welcome with fresh eggs and scones. The attention to detail was impressive, and we felt right at home. We spent our days on the charming deck, feeding the ducks and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The well-equipped bathroom in such a small space was a bonus. Exploring the nearby beaches in Penzance and Mousehole added to the magic of our stay. We're already planning our return!
While the media break was a nice change of pace, not having WiFi made planning a bit more challenging. The folding bed was on the heavier side, and although the hosts kindly offered assistance, I found it a bit cumbersome in the mornings when I was still a bit groggy.

We got amazing value for our money at this cozy little place. The room itself exceeded our expectations with its adorable decor and thoughtful amenities. The location was tranquil and picturesque, with a beautiful pond and countryside views. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home.
The food for breakfast could have been better with a wider variety of options.

What a hidden gem! From the moment I arrived, I felt like I stepped into a tranquil paradise. The hosts had thought of everything to make my stay perfect, from providing fresh eggs and scones to ensuring the firewood was ready for BBQs and the cozy log burner. The bathroom was surprisingly spacious and well-designed considering the small space. I spent my days on the deck feeding the ducks and exploring the nearby beaches of Penzance and Mousehole. I can't wait to return!
One small drawback was the lack of wifi, which made it a bit challenging for planning activities. Also, the folding bed was a bit heavy, but the hosts kindly offered assistance.

We had a wicked time chilling by the fire pit and enjoying the beautiful view of the pond. The place was so well equipped, we felt like we were camping in style. Plus, being close to the Minack Theatre was epic, we caught an awesome show there. Definitely a top spot for a teenage party crew!
The only thing we would've loved to have is a bit more nighttime excitement. It would've been rad if there were some cool outdoor activities for young party-goers, like a mini-golf course or a DJ booth.
